Rural Development Council (RDC)
Rural Development Council (RDC) entered into social and health care activities in the year 1995 under approval of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh with a goal to promote the socio-economic status of the distressed women through empowerment and protecting their rights. Since then, Rural Development Council (RDC) playing key roles in executing the Government Policies in the fields of women empowerment, Primary Health Care Support in context of EPI, Sanitation, STD, HIV-AIDS, Arsenic Mitigation etc.
Rural Development Council (RDC) was directly involved in execution of “HIV-AIDS Prevention /Awareness Programme” under Asian Development Bank funded huge labor intensive railway line construction project and completed with the satisfaction of its Employer, Construction Supervision Consultant and ADB’s Safeguard Team. Therefore, Rural Development Council (RDC) is well aware of the scope of the services and deliverables of the “HIV-AIDS Prevention /Awareness Programme” under this project’s requirements and looking the opportunities to find themselves as a Service Provider for providing the required services under HIV-AIDS Prevention /Awareness Programme.
