An inspection team led by Inspector Ruhul Quader Azad of the Directorate of Railway Inspection, along with officers and engineers from various departments of the Railways, conducted several tests on the newly constructed 102 km railway line from Dohazari station to Cox’s Bazar.
After the inspection, they said, “There is no defect in the railway line.”
The inspection team left for Cox’s Bazar from Chattogram Railway Station at 8:00 AM on Sunday (November 5) to inspect the railway line with 1 Locomotor and a train with 8 coaches and arrived at Cox’s Bazar Iconic Railway Station at 6:20 PM.

At that time, he said, “Several tests have been conducted on the newly constructed 102 km railway line from Dohazari station to Cox’s Bazar.” There is no fault in the railway line. However, due to some reasons including recruitment of manpower, it may take more time to start the commercial journey.
At this time, the project director of the Dohazari-Cox’s Bazar railway project Md. Subaktagin said, “Some last minute work is left. Today the Inspector of the Railway Inspection Department came and saw. No crew was found. Today’s train reached Cox’s Bazar safely. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the railway project on November 11. After the inauguration, commercial rail traffic can start anytime soon.
